Meet the Park Place Technologies leadership team.
Chris Adams
President & Chief Executive Officer

As President and CEO of Park Place Technologies, Chris Adams is an architect of leadership, innovation and change. Since being named CEO in 2019, Chris has set a new path for growth and customer excellence. He is committed to extending the traditional strengths of Park Place in maintenance and support to meet changing needs of customers in an era of digital transformation. To that end, Chris is leading the category development of IT lifecycle management, supporting data centers from procuring to managing, maintaining, and ultimately decommissioning.

Chris joined Park Place in 2006 as CFO and his most recent role was COO, where he oversaw global operations, information & technology, new product development, international expansion and all mergers & acquisitions activity.

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer

Andy joined Park Place in 2020 as Chief Financial Officer.  In his CFO role, Andy is responsible for Park Place’s overall financial strategy, including financial planning & analysis, accounting and reporting, treasury management, budgeting and capital allocation.  In 2023, Andy added the Chief Administrative Officer role.  As CAO, Andy oversees human resources, legal and real estate operations.

Andy has over 30 years of financial operations experience.  Prior to joining Park Place, Andy most recently served as CFO of Valtris Specialty Chemicals in Cleveland, Ohio.  Andy’s previous positions include CFO for ERICO International Corporation, where he served for more than a decade, and Controller for Chart Industries, Inc.  Andy is a certified public accountant.

David Cramer headshot
David Cramer
President, Solutions Delivery

As President of Park Place Technologies Solutions Delivery, David develops and grows the Software, Managed and Professional Services division. His oversight will include software asset innovation and continued growth through organic sales, as well as acquiring key assets that will strengthen the company’s value proposition.

He will also focus on innovating the way software is developed and delivered, differentiating Park Place’s approach from more traditional speculative engineering.

Prior to joining Park Place, Cramer served as VP of Product Management for CA Technologies from 2009-2015 and was most recently President of Software and Data for CPA Global. During these intermediary years, he led Digital Service Operations for BMC Software, which is when he first collaborated with Park Place Technologies. He oversaw BMC’s TrueSight platform, which became a building block for Park Place’s revolutionary ParkView Hardware Monitoring service.

John Stock
Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing

John Stock began his career with Park Place as a sales development associate 14 years ago and has taken on roles with progressive responsibilities, most recently as Vice President, North American Sales. John has distinguished himself as a skilled seller and selfless leader who has an excellent track record of achieving results through others.

Chief Customer Experience Officer

As Chief Customer Experience Officer, Stella is responsible for revamping the customer, partner and employee experience. From process documentation and improvement to identifying experiences that need to be evaluated, CX is focused to ensure a consistent and high level of customer service; both internally and externally.

In 17 years at Park Place, Stella has served as Corporate Controller, VP of Treasury & Tax, VP of Strategic Finance (M&A) & FP&A, and most recently VP of Customer Experience before stepping in as Interim CXO.

In addition to these roles, she has spent a large amount of time on various enterprise system implementations throughout her tenure at Park Place.

Before joining Park Place in 2006, she served as an Accountant for the State of Ohio.

Sachi Thompson
General Manager, Global Hardware Division

As General Manager, Global Hardware, Sachi leads our global server, storage and network hardware business. She has been with the organization for 14 years and held various executive roles overseeing the expansion of the brand globally and managing the global supply chain and logistics infrastructure for Curvature.

Previously the Executive Vice President of Supply Chain for Curvature, Sachi led the global Curvature team in charge of supply chain, procurement, logistics, and facilities operations.

Sachi also served as COO, leading initiatives that contributed to organizational growth from $14 million to $56 million over three years. She focused efforts on emerging markets and new lines of business, managing a team of 400 global staff, as well as P&L budgeting and management for 75% of the company’s spend. As COO, Sachi rebuilt and ran maintenance product offerings and rebuilt the service delivery organization, unifying global operating processes.

Prior to joining Curvature, Sachi was the Leasing and Facilities Director for a private real estate group, where she managed a $40 million portfolio. Sachi also served as Production Director for Big Dogs Sportswear and has more than 10 years of experience in offshore production and cost management.

Hal Malstrom
Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Hal oversees all global operations for Park Place, helping to scale recent growth and maintaining Park Place Technologies’ commitment to innovation, while continuing to deliver superior customer service.

During Hal’s 13 years at Park Place Technologies, he spent the first 10 managing Global Service Operations, responsible for service delivery, engineering, and support center operations. He has also served as Chief of Staff to CEO Chris Adams. For the past 2 years, Hal has served as General Manager of Professional Services, responsible for managing and expanding Park Place Technologies’ professional services’ $35 million global portfolio, driving professional services sales, and the successful delivery of professional services engagements for both channel and direct customers, globally.

Before joining Park Place Technologies, Hal built the service delivery arm for Data General’s Professional Services Network Practice, which generated $30 million in revenue in the first 18 months of operations. Hal’s next assignment was Global Operations Director for Professional Services. He also worked at EMC within their Professional Services division, where he created their Global Network Services organization, which was responsible for delivering assessment services for their Network Attached Storage products. Hal’s next role was managing EMC’s Global CLARiiON technical support division, where he provided world class support to customers around the globe.

Michael Vedda
Chief Revenue Officer

As CRO, Vedda drives revenue globally for Park Place Technologies across all strategic business units, including ParkViewTM and Entuity. In this role, he is responsible for:

  • Global revenue growth, overseeing organic sales and acquisitions
  • Global sales leadership, leading a team of established sales veterans
  • Global sales recruitment, guiding retention, training, and development

Well-suited to help drive the company’s ambitious growth plans, Vedda brings nearly 25 years of professional experience to Park Place Technologies, most recently serving as Dell EMC Vice President of Sales for the Americas, Data Protections Solutions. In more than 15 years at Dell, his roles included leading a specialty business overseeing sales strategy, sales operations, demand and revenue generation, and profitability. Vedda also served in several sales leadership roles across Asia and Europe during nearly a decade at Parametric Technology Corp.

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

As Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Betsy brings nearly 30 years of business law experience to Park Place Technologies. Supporting the growth of Park Place, Betsy leads a team that provides legal support to our sales group worldwide and serves as an important contributor to our focused acquisitions and strategic initiatives teams. She also oversees the Human Resources team, and compliance and risk management for the company globally.

Betsy’s legal career includes over 20 years in private practice as a corporate law partner at Benesch Friedlander and Baker Hostetler in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as in-house business and legal experience for entrepreneurial PE-funded businesses.

Betsy has served as an adjunct instructor in the MBA program at Baldwin Wallace University and is the in-coming Chairman of the Board of Julie Billiart School in Lyndhurst, a standard-setting K-8 program for children with autism, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia and other learning difficulties.

Ian Shearer
Managing Director, EMEA and APAC

As Managing Director, EMEA and APAC, Ian has overall responsibility for the growth and development of Park Place across EMEA and Asia.

Ian brings a wealth of Third Party Maintenance experience, having joined Park Place Technologies following the acquisition of Computer Computer (Com-Com) Limited in September 2016, which he had owned and operated for 24 years. During a successful stint as General Manager of Europe for Park Place, he was heavily involved in the acquisition and integration of his own former business as well as the two subsequent UK acquisitions of Prestige Data Centre Solutions and NCE computer Group into the Park Place family.

Managing Director, LATAM

As Managing Director for LATAM, Christian is responsible for leading all aspects of the Park Place business in the region, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction, business development and growth.

Christian started his career in 1998 at The Nielsen Company. During his more than 20 years there, he served in multiple leadership positions in Argentina, Latin America and worldwide, earning solid corporate background knowledge and skillsets. In parallel, as an entrepreneur, he started his own company in 2011, CMG Technologies, dedicated to providing third party maintenance services across LATAM. Due to the outstanding results, customer orientation and coverage in +30 countries, CMG was acquired by Park Place Technologies LLC in 2018, enabling the world’s largest post-warranty data center maintenance firm to offer its services to customers who are based or have operations throughout Latin America.

Nicola Buckley
Executive Vice President, Global Service Delivery

As Executive Vice President, Global Service Delivery, Nicola is responsible for Global Service Operations delivery including the Global Support Center, Advanced Engineering and Field Service Delivery. Nicola is focused on developing expert technical teams supported by next generation technology capabilities. This includes IoT, M2M and Big Data technologies delivering a superior digital experience through AI. Nicola is focused on driving a trusted partnership with our customers, by helping them with their own personal journey of consolidation and optimization.

Prior to joining Park Place Technologies, Nicola was with Dell EMC for 20 years. She held various roles, starting as a technical support engineer. From there she held several Customer First focused roles, including Customer Satisfaction programs, programs supporting IoT and M2M capabilities and led a customer and technical support organization delivering Enterprise Hybrid Cloud, Converged and Hyper Converged organizations.

Kelly Greene
VP of Mergers & Acquisitions

Kelly Greene is the VP of Mergers & Acquisitions at Park Place Technologies. She leads the M&A process from identifying targets and negotiating the deal through integration. She is keenly focused on creating long-term value and achieving target EBITDA goals. Her secret to success is focusing on creating positive, high-performance cultures.

In her 9 years at Park Place, Kelly has facilitated in excess of 25 acquisitions globally, in each of those years meeting or exceeding the company’s targets for growth by M&A. With a background in industry, customer service and the human capital of organizations, Kelly brings added perspectives and tools to the economic calculus of deal-making.

Previously, Kelly spent 5 years at Intuit and 21 years at Progressive.
